Want to use lor controllers but......

Lor is great and I want to buy there controllers, but.......

I love Vixen for my sequencing and I will not be getting into RGB stuff for a few years. I know this is a no no for in LOR forums but I think I can use both. I really hope someone will tell me if what my thinking is right. If not then please tell me were I'm wrong.

Computer using Vixen > with the Enttec pro plug in >Enttec pro Dongle > XLR to cat 5 wire "from holiday coro" > first lor controller and daisy chain to the next lor controller and so on?

Please tell me in I'm right or need to do something different.

I know Vixen can run the LOR controllers in DMX mode. I'm not sure about using the LOR protocol. I wouldn't have any reserve running the LOR controllers in DMX mode.

You can run LOR controllers as DMX devices, which Vixen will support.

That said, LOR S3 is a lot more powerful and has a lot more features than Vixen. You just might want to consider checking it out.
