Very Nice.. We need to hook your kid up with mine.

Here he is soldering a controller for me. He is only 7
but he put the kit together all by himself.. (well I helped a little)

We have had people tell us that 7 year olds have sequenced their own songs for Christmas.... I have been known to let my 7 year old use a drill to drive screws, etc... I do not think that he could do the soldering (I do wish I had 7 year old eyes when I solder). As far as babies and soldering irons cute but when then get a bit older I am sure we would make sure they never see a soldering iron as play thing!

I was very suprised when he asked if he could try soldering.
I let him practice on some wires, then I let him try the terminal
lugs on the boards. He really is a natural. Some of his work looks
better than mine ! He hasn't asked to sequence yet.

Hmmm.....a baby playing with a soldering iron.

Lets see......if I recall, a soldering iron is sharp on one end and can be extremely hot. Not to mention the cord and its potential.:]
