Guest guest Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 We have had people tell us that 7 year olds have sequenced their own songs for Christmas.... I have been known to let my 7 year old use a drill to drive screws, etc... I do not think that he could do the soldering (I do wish I had 7 year old eyes when I solder). As far as babies and soldering irons cute but when then get a bit older I am sure we would make sure they never see a soldering iron as play thing!
Guest guest Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I was very suprised when he asked if he could try soldering.I let him practice on some wires, then I let him try the terminallugs on the boards. He really is a natural. Some of his work looksbetter than mine ! He hasn't asked to sequence yet.Tim

Guest guest Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Hmmm.....a baby playing with a soldering iron.Lets see......if I recall, a soldering iron is sharp on one end and can be extremely hot. Not to mention the cord and its potential.:]
