controller lights

hi

will be first time user of lor this year, have many stes of led lights with a multi function controller, can these be used as thay are without modification to them, if i do use them what is the effect lor have on them pls.

You can use the strings of lights with LOR. However, you can not control the multifunction controller with LOR. You would also want to make sure you do not Fade, Twinkle or Shimmer the channels you have those strings connected to, as it might damage the controller on the LED strings.

Which controller? The Light-O-Rama controller or the LED String controller?

I wouldn't know how to modify the LED string controller. As for the LOR controller, when programming your sequences, you would simply want to make sure that you have only "On" or "Off" commands for those channels connected to the LED strings.
