Maine Lights
If you are interested in selling the SPT1 plugs I would buy some for future use.
Guest wbottomley
No. The difference is the insulation.WRONG!SPT 1 plugs will not work on SPT2 wire.
Guest wbottomley
My fault. I was thinking something different. It's been one of those days of setup.
Max-Paul
And the heat is on! Crunch time is in full swing. And I forgot to say that we are down to what now, 5 weeks and 3 days? I light up Thanksgiving evening by request of the residents on our gravel road, and biggest fan one house down. rmturner54
The insulation thickness is the difference. SPT1= 0.30SPT2= 0.45SPT3= 0.60So if you were to use a SPT2 connector on SPT1 wire there is a chance that it could cut right through it. Where as the other way it is possible you might not make good connections. Stick with the proper connectors for the wire and you will not have any problems.
