Greg Young
We have lost one of our old timers, and founders of our community. The comments above say it all...I have known Bill since 2002. We used to talk quite a bit. I always meant to get out there and see his antique FT collection, but never made it.I wish I had....He was truly one of the nicest folks anyone would ever want to meet. The last time I saw him was at lunch, probably back in 2007 if memory serves. The displays of his brother in law (the various animated animals as some of you may recall) were among the first, and truly unique, animated wireframes synch'd to music in our community. There is one bit of good news - fortunately his display has not gone dark, but rather much of it is being run by his brother-in-law in his memory.Bill, you are very missed.......Greg
jimswinder
I have been away from the forums for awhile and just found about Bill's passing yesterday...Bill was a fantastic man...what I remember most about him was that even after just meeting him, he treated you like you had known each other for many many years... A remarkable man and my life is better for having been able to be in Bill and Nancys' presence and in their home several times over the last four years...He is sorely missed this Christmas Season...
