Guest guest
its basically a better cable than cat 5 or 5e...allows for faster speed...should be no biggie...i have a few cat 6 patch cords that i used while testing in my living room and it worked fine
Guest guest
Cat6 is more expensive than Cat5 because it is rated for higher speeds. If you're buying some just for LOR don't waste your money on it.

Guest guest
I would make sure that it is not more expensive because even if it can handle higher speeds you will essentially have a lot of unused capacity. It may be able to handle it, but the Christmas software packages we all use cannot send it at those speeds.Ken
