columbus27
Is there something like Christmas Light finder out there that is a little more high tech? Where a person can use a smart phone, rate the houses, and do a destination map.
WhitePlainsNY
I have two apps on my iPhone but both are dissapointing. Only a tiny amount of homes are on the maps. I've added my own home to the apps but the average person isn't going to take the time.HolidayLights by MapMuseChristmas Lights Finder by Light Year Software
Tim Fischer
Yeah, I tried maybe a half dozen iPhone apps. One of them contacted us and I allowed them to list us. Several of the rest just listed us without asking (no big deal). None of them had more than 3 other displays in the entire metro area.Summary - all of them are pretty disappointing. I've found displays via the paper (although that has really dwindled in the last 5 years), the internet, and word of mouth. David Rise
We have a county website that we all use. Not very elaborate, but it works. Plus our local paper has a Christmas light section every year.
