Difference between fixture and prop?

What are the main differences between these two items in the visualizer? On the right side, I see my list of creations with two tabs at the top....fixture and prop. When I click on them both, nothing seems to change.

A fixture is the lighting element a prop is an object which you use to enhance the fixtures. (I'm sure someone will have a better explanation than me.)

Generally speaking, props are made using individual fixtures. For example, an conventional arch is a prop that includes (in my case) seven segments. Each of those seven segments is an individual fixture.

When you view the prop you see all the fixtures combined.

When you view the fixture, you see just that individual fixture highlighted.

Lol, You have to cut him some slack, they don't speak the same English over there as we do. =)

But George said what Spomalley meant to say.

Think of the fixtures as the individual light strings, and the prop is the whole mega-tree.
