markha1
I seem to be having a problem with my new sequences. I have started sequencing on a new operating system (Win 7), the problem is that when I play the sequence from the start the sequence is out of sync with the audio but when I play the segment with the sequence (Play from selected) the sequence is correct. Any information on how I can correct this little difficulty?
-klb-
It sounds like you are using variable bit rate audio files, so that when windows media player is asked to start 30 seconds in, it is positioning based on the average bit rate. The actual playback time may be early or late though. Using a wave file, or constant bit rate mp3 should cause it to always line up like it does when playing from the beginning.
jimswinder
You can convert your audio files to a Constant Bit Rate using Audacity...a free program you can find here:http://audacity.sourceforge.net/you'll also need the Lame Decoder:http://manual.audacityteam.org/help/manual/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame Edited July 17, 2012 by jimswinder

George Simmons
Will the learning curve ever end ????I think that depends on how good you want to get. There's plenty around here to be learned, that's for sure. There's a big difference, and it's usually seen in the finished product, between people who continue to learn new things in this hobby as compared to those who think they already know everything.Glad you got your audio issues worked out.
