I currently have v2.9.4 I believe it is LOR II, but not 100% sure . Can anyone tell me is this th latest version? I saw that LOR III is out, however I am a little unsure if I should upgrade. All of my sequences are perfect in my current version. Any advice?

2.9.4 is LOR 2, and would be the latest (and last) version available in the LOR 2 series.

LOR 3 is out, and currently at 3.4.0.

Take a look at the Software download page http://www.lightorama.com/SoftwareDownloadPage.html which also has links to the help files for each version. Within the help file you will find a 'What's new' section, which will tell you what each new version offers. (Hint: Just look at the 3.4.0 version help file, as it will show you the what's new for all versions. http://www.lightorama.com/downloads/3.4.0/help/ )

You should check your license first, before downloading, to see if your license covers S3 or not. http://lightorama.com/licenseCheck.html

If not, then you will need to renew your license.

To renew your license at the same level (Basic/Advanced, etc.) then use this link:
http://store.lightorama.com/solire.html

If you wish to Upgrade to a higher version (Basic to Advanced, for example) use this link:

yes you should upgrade, all of your current sequences will work.Once you see the new visualizer you will want to use it. plus if you have alot of channels it allows you to channel groups like items like mini trees, and mega trees etc. well worth the upgrade

I used 2.94 last season, and upgraded to S3 a month or two ago. Even if you don't use the new Visualizer (I haven't, yet) there are enough new tools to make sequencing easier that it's well worth the small upgrade price.

I have a question related to software licenses...is the SS license addition, is that a one-time purchase even though we still pay for yearly upgrades on the main license? Or, do we need to buy the yearly license to maintain the updates AND have to also buy yearly SS licenses?

The SSE license is a one time purchase, just as the purchase of your regular LOR software was a one time purchase.

One renewal covers all existing licenses associated with your email address: http://store.lightorama.com/sopr.html
