I'm trying get an enclosure for less than $30. Guest guest Posted January 15, 2007 Share Posted January 15, 2007 I recommend that you keep the total power level down below 30A continuous if you put it in a plastic box... 40A in a metal box. Now this is continuous duty... If you have a typical display, the lights will be on less than 50% of the time (50% duty cycle) with a 50% duty cycle you be fine in either plastic or metal.
