dgrant Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 When I first read this post, my first thought was possibly the OP's antivirus software is setup to scan every file that's requested to open, before allowing it to actually use that file, therefore a possible delay. It could also be something as simple as his computer needing to be defragmented if the file is too fragmented.
