hdbaird
I've got to be doing something wrong.I've got the S3 (v3.2.0.4) software with the 24CCR feature, running a 12 CCR Superstar, vertical display accross 2 networks. I have the 12 CCR's conifigured with Unit ID's 20-2B. I have the Superstar network configured:Unit ID of First Ribbon Controller: 20Standard Network 01 -1FAux A 20-25Aux B 26-2BAux C 2C - F0After exporting from Superstar and Importing into Sequence editor, the channel configurations appear to be correct. (i.e. CCR01-P01: RED: Device Type = LOR; Network = Aux A; Unit = 20; Circuit 1)When running the sequence, The display is "scrambled". I can tell that lights are changing with the music, that's it. (ie.. When only a small section of the Superstar is supposed to be lit, the entire CCR is lit). What did I miss?ThanksDoug
George Simmons
Check the unit ID mode in the CCR config in the hardware utility. It should be set to normal as opposed to legacy.
hdbaird
George, You're a genius!!That was it. They were set to Legacy. Now my display works as expected, Other than I spaced the CCR's too far apart. Is there a "best practice" for what the distance should be? (I know, should be another subject/thread).Doug
BrianBruderer
On my SuperStar display the ribbons are about 1.5 inches apart at the top and 12 inches apart at the bottom. When I did a horizontal matrix display, each ribbon was 3.5 inches apart. -Brian Bruderer

George Simmons
hdbaird wrote: George,You're a genius!!Thanks. But the truth is, at 132, I just barely made the cut.Either way, I'm glad you got things working right. And Jim, I'll be sure to pass on your observations to Sharon. She was just mentioning yesterday that she wishes we lived in a smaller house with a bigger yard. Maybe she needs to reconsider...
hdbaird
George, If your IQ was any higher then you sure wouldn't be using your time & money building light shows (notice I didn't say wasting time & money )Brian, I'll try the 3.5". The display is vertical but not a "tree". I went with 4 7/8" (I was going for 4", but a mis-calculation when building my frame allowed me to do 4 7/8". I had to try). Thanks again for all the help & advice.DougSomeday I'll figure out how to put the "replies" in those squares.
