cjjr Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 New to LOR, got my kit, port adapter, and software. Just wondering, is there a way to check and see if the driver loaded? When I loaded it, two different black screens can up and then went away. But did not get any finished window to tell me it was done? And I have window 7. Thanks form a newbi. Guest wbottomley Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 With adapter connected, go to device manager and find comm ports then see if the usb serial port driver has been installed. cjjr Posted April 8, 2012 Author Share Posted April 8, 2012 thanks for the help. I plugged it in and it went through the driver install and is working fine.
