Guest guest
I just turned the lights on and off quickly when i wanted the trees to move/run.Is that what yall are referring to when you say a chase sequence???
Guest guest
A basic chase is to sequence through each channel in succession. There are endless variants to this: Chase an "off" tree through all the rest on, have all dimmed except one chasing at 100% brightness, have an "endless chase" of every 4th tree, etc.And chases tend to look better if you use a small "ramp down" to turn each tree off, rather than just have it go off. This is what I call "smudging", and you can vary the ramp down time to suit your tastes and that of the sequence -- but it will make your display less "blinky" and more professional looking.-Tim

Guest guest
To make trees, I do basically the same thing, but my "ramp" is either a 1/10 of a second fade or 2/10 of a second fade down. I don't know if this is what Tim uses or not, but that's what I do and it seems to work real well.
