newbie and have some questions

ok about the cords is their any ways to hook then togather to make longer than 100 feet ? our yards 180 feet..and if no does the wireless run more than 1 box?

1) The 100ft limit only applies to the RS485 connector to the first controller. If you use the 485USB connector, you can go beyond 100 feet for the first connection. Controller to controller can up upwards of 2000ft.

2) If you have 3 controllers, you would need 4 wireless devices to make it work. One at the computer, and 1 at each controller.

This needs clarifying. I have 3 16 channel LOR's. I run wireless from the computer to the first controller, and then from there they are connected with Cat 5 cable. You can see this in the picture below.

Original poster, you don't mention how far apart the boards are or anything like that. However, after looking at the LOR Support page, I think it will answer a lot of your questions.
