heystew
There has been mention elsewhere on the forum that you can set two CCR controllers with the same Unit ID and they will both respond to commands for that ID. I decided to try this in the Visualizer this morning and could not get it to work. Maybe i'm missing a step.I created a 50 pixel arch (5 segments of 10 pixels). Set the Unit ID to 1 in the fixture properties. After that I copied and pasted the fixture. Now I have two arches set to Unit ID 1 with 50 pixels. When clicking the "Simulation Mode" button i receive the following error message. (note that if i delete either one, the simulation will play ok)Error Message:There are one or more errors with your simulation that prevent it from running. Please correct these errors and try again.Fixture A - CCR 1 is not contiguous. Next pixel is 1 but should be 51Main CCR Fixture A - CCR 1 (copy) does not have exactly 50 pixels. Check all child CCRs. LOR Staff
That's a limitation of the Visualizer. 2 or more CCRs can not have the same base ID, unless they represent different pixels.
