LOR Staff
It has been my experience that when I can't seem to get audio to record, it's because I haven't selected the correct input in the equalizer.Vista (and maybe 7) Right click the speaker icon in the taskbar and go to 'Recording Devices'. Select the correct device.XP Right click the speaker, go to 'Volume Control'. Then goto Options/Properties. Change the 'Adjust Volume' to 'Recording', then make sure all the sources have check marks in them. Hit OK and select the correct device.
htebault
An update - I found comments that MS Expressions 4 has problems with sound on XP - suggests using Expressions 3 which I will try shortly.
htebault
Ok - MS Expressions 3 works on XP for video and sound... MS Expressions 4 apparently is coded for Win7, and does not record sound when used on Win XP - so now I know.
Timon
It would be great if LOR would build recoding directly into the Viz. The advantage is speed since you don't have to display it on the screen while recording which removed that extra process.
