My father was the person who conceived and built his ideas when i was very young, now that he has gotten older we build everything together and setup the display together. I draw and paint all of the animated cutouts and this year was my first using Light O Rama. The majority of my display is static incandescent lights at this point, 45,000 give or take a few hundred. I'm only running 32 channels at this point, but i wanted a 3 color, 360 degree control mega tree, so that is what is controlled to this point. We've already purchased 2 more controllers and I've completed the programing for 2 new songs for 2012. My display will never be entirely lights controlled by a computer, but my goal is to try to appeal to as many different people as possible. I do realize that my programing was really bad, but I couldn't really figure out how i wanted to do thing differently until after I had watched it play through a few times. Also the Visualizer was a mystery to me until i decided to print out and read the whole tutorial LOL.

Linda
I love your display. What kind of motor did you use for your carousel? We made one this year and used a rotating tree stand for the base but I'd like it to turn faster.
1983ss454
It's a DC motor from a large welder wire feeder, it runs off a box that allows us to change the speed to what we are looking for. It's large enough for 3 small children to ride on the horses..Thanks everyone for the compliments
