Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I'm a newbie, so bear with me. I'm working out the concept for a light show, but haven't bought the equipment yet. I've not done any light shows before and can't seem to find the information on vendor websites. Most of the shows I've seen run combinations of on/off sequences, at least in appearance. I'd like to be able to add light fades and dimming, i.e. the Xmas star or maybe a sunrise. How do I go about discovering the capabilities and limitations of the Lightorama products?
Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Best recommendation is download the trial software. You can dim lights from 100 to 0 or any point in between (like going from 43% to 81%) and over any period of time you wish (.1 second or 1 minute or more). There are also twinkle and shimmer functions built in which add another dimension to control. If you can think of it, there's probably a way to do it.

You would probably learn quite a lot about the controllers capabilities from those documents. Also, http://www.LORWiki.com has a lot of user created documentation which may be of help.
