Making a multi color fan

In my display, I have a 12 segment fan and it uses multi color lights instead of a solid color. When I did the arch (fan) wizard the only way I found to make the lights multi colored without messing up the channels was to make them all solid color and then go into each segment and change it to multi colors. Is there another way to do it or is this currently the only way to do it? If it is the only way to do it, can we get it into the wishlist to be able to make arches/fans multi-color and of course poles once we get that option.

You must have been using the channel wizard on the Prop's properties.

The way you did it is the only way -- Go into each fixture/segment of the fan, click a channel row, chang the channel sub-type to 'multi' and select the colors.

I'll wishlist it, but I don't think it will be done. The idea for the channel wizard is to give you the ability to quickly assign a lot of channels in a simple way. Multi-color is more of an 'extended channel attribute' that would only clutter the wizard.
