Guest guest
I have a neighbor that wants to synchronize his house to mine next year and he also wants to build a train similar to the onhttp://www.kindlachristmas.comMy question is how do the ELLs get there power? My plan is to either get a 12 volt inverter to run the LOR board and use LEDs since they dont draw much power and can operate on DC or use the D-Light DC16 board that runs off of 5-60 volts dc and use the ELL's to get the signal to the controller on the train. If I use a DC16 board can I still use the ELLs and does anyone have any comments on why this wouldnt work or how to make it work better? Thanks
Guest guest
The ELL is powered by the LOR controller it is connected to. Very straightforward. I installed ELLs for both of my immediate neighbors. For convenience, I also put an ELL in my display so I don't have any physical connection to the PC.
