Kevin Holcomb
Ok, so I have checked the com/ref on both the sequence editor and the visualizer, and I have ensured that the control visualizer option is checked. I have allowed access through the firewall for the visualizer, and I press play on both the visualizer's bar and the sequence editor, and still nothing. Not sure what the problem could be. Just so you're aware, I have installed the S3 Suite on a different computer, and I loaded my channel config file and visualizer file from the old computer. I can't figure this one out. bisquit476
If you press the play button on the visualizer do all the lights disappear?
Kevin Holcomb
Yes.
jimswinder
shouldn't all the lights disappear as soon as you put it into Simulation mode?
Kevin Holcomb
Yes, they typically do. I have this working on my machine at home with no issues, but on this new computer, I can't seem to get it going.

Kevin Holcomb
The OS is Win7 Pro SP1. The software is 3.1.4 with an advanced license.
jimswinder
I take it you didn't run the visualizer on the new machine before updating to 3.1.4?not that it should matter...
Kevin Holcomb
No, I didn't.

bisquit476
Like Jim said, the sequence and audio do play, correct? You are also getting the"UDP Simulation active on 127.0.0.1 (30303)" at the bottom of the visualizer window?
Kevin Holcomb
Yes, the sequence and audio play correctly, just no vis. Also, the old machine was 3.1.4 as well.

Kevin Holcomb
Yes, it is still checked. Also, no sequences are working. I even made a small animation loop with a totally new channel config and a whole new visualization file, "wired" the channels, and still nothing.
