Guest guest
Just wondering what the slowest reliable PC out there is running any shows.I have a old CTX 266Mhz laptop and was thinking about blowing the dust off of it if it will work. Guest guest
http://www.wonderlandchristmas.com/lorfaq/lorfaq.php#minconfigFor the actual running of shows, a 200Mhz machine will do fine with 100s of channels. When it comes to editing, however, you are going to want something a little more powerful. While the sequence editor will work with even a low power machine, you could some "jerky" video response with lots of channels. All of the software will run on Windows98 or higher. Light-O-Rama suggests at least a 400Mhz machine.RAM: The amount of memory used depends on the sequence length and number of channels and events and lots of stuff but 30Mb should handle most users.Hard Disk space: You need about 15Mb of disk space PLUS space for sequences and music files. Sequences usually run less than 1Mb.
