Guest guest
So I am working on sequencing a song. I get to a part where I decide the mini-trees should be synchronized with the individual notes. I slowed down the music and tried to diagram it. I got a little ways into it and decided, “there has to be an easier way”. I went to Google and found sheet music for the song. Now I can see exactly how many notes I’m working with. Now that I can visualize the notes my life got a whole lot easier. Just curious if anyone else uses sheet music as an aide when sequencing?Dan
Guest guest
I've used sheet music for several sequences, but not exactly for the same reason as you. I do some sequences with live music. I've sequences several files without ever hearing the audio. They were done with a "silent" audio file and a flash track for the musicians (like a click track, but with lights). All the sequencing was done using just the music scores, and some basic math.
Guest guest
Sequence an entire song by sheet music? Hmm...that could be intersting & fun...
