MikeA Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Nice. I'll need your address so I can stop by as I will be in Wichita in Dec.
George Simmons Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Nice Job Melvin! I wish my Flip did as nice of a job - maybe I should try it without the wide-angle lens...
Melvin Stoddard Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 Thanks for the comments.I bought the candy canes at Lowe's last year after Christmas. They were unlit and on sale for $5.00. They sale them now for about $11 or $12. I popped off the top cap, and drilled a hole near the bottom and put LED ropelight inside. Reattached the top cap and put grey and white duct tape on the extra foot of lights {6 foot of ropelight in 5 foot of candy cane}. I like the look of them, 4 foot tall with a foot of curl. George I did use my wide-angle lens when I recorded this. By the way George I can't wait to see your video's you always do a great job. Mel
Mike Cole Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Lots going on there! Like all the color, good job............
Melvin Stoddard Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 Here is another song a filmed with my flip. I waited to late to shoot it. I don't really like shooting in complete dark like this.
