reitan_family
Some people have asked questions about hiding the LOR boxes because of theft issues. This is what I use. My larger trees are made from .25 hot rolled steel. They have a 2' diameter base and are 4' tall. I use about 120' of garland from my local Dollar Tree store (about $8). I have 300 each red and green lights. Next year I'll add clear too. They also do a great job protecting them from the winter snow. In the last pic, there was no snow inside the tree. reitan_family
I Know alot of people that keep the controllers inside a garage or bedroom and run the wire outside. If it works for you great.
Ralph Priest
That's exactly what I did;cut a pass-through in one garage wall and installed a dryer vent that can be closed and locked during the off-season.
bkdraft
My controllers are mounted on custom built 2X4 stands. The main set of controllers sit behind my NOEL sign. NOEL sign is made from old CD's and C9 lights strings, controlled with 4 channelsThe other controllers are mounted on the back side of my Tune To sign, also made from 2X4's. Guest guest
Here's what my controller stand looks like. Took this before I placed it outside for the first time for Halloween. Currently outside -1 controller for the Christmas display.https://skydrive.live.com/#!/?cid=7D6D47DFA1C635AE!cid=7D6D47DFA1C635AE&id=7D6D47DFA1C635AE%211953
