coolchuck1 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 On previous verisons of S2, if I was editing a sequence, and hit play, the lights would be controlled if the "control lights" setting was checked. Now, if I check that setting and hit play, it clears itself. If I click on it while the sequence is playing, it will control lights, but as soon as the sequence stops, it will uncheck itself. It didn't work that way when I was editing shows last year, so that 'feature' must have been introduced somewhere between Nov-10 and Sept-11. I have the advanced license, and it shows as valid in the 'about' drop-down.thanks, Chuck
JBullard Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Which version of S2 are you using?Only one update was issued in the time frame you mentioned, And I never experienced a problem with it.
bisquit476 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Do you have the dongle hooked up? It may be required to "latch" the control lights button.

After some snooping around, I figured out that apparently one of the S2 upgrades must have reset the LOR port configuration, so the software wasn't finding the dongle because it was looking in the wrong place.
