Next year's lights? (Or maybe 2013?)

Much of it sounds like they hype about SED TV. But that got held up a couple of years in IP lawsuits, and during that time, LED illuminated LCD came out, and LCD prices fell to where SED was not only no longer going to be cheaper, but in fact, could not compete. It will be interesting to see what happens here. As well as if they every generate any other bulb geometries.

The technology sounds like EL Wire.
MAybe just a larger piece in a light bulb shape.

But traditional EL wire is no where mear as bright.

It looks neat. I would buy one.
