-klb-
Much of it sounds like they hype about SED TV. But that got held up a couple of years in IP lawsuits, and during that time, LED illuminated LCD came out, and LCD prices fell to where SED was not only no longer going to be cheaper, but in fact, could not compete. It will be interesting to see what happens here. As well as if they every generate any other bulb geometries.
gizmomkr
The technology sounds like EL Wire.MAybe just a larger piece in a light bulb shape. But traditional EL wire is no where mear as bright. It looks neat. I would buy one.
Steven
From http://www.vu1corporation.com/technology/:Electron Stimulated Luminescence™ (ESL) Lighting Technology is an entirely new, energy efficient lighting technology. It uses accelerated electrons to stimulate phosphor to create light, making the surface of the bulb “glow”.They just described a CRT!
