Guest guest Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Unknown device suddenly started to appear.Short blink followed by long blink.Autoconfig "Found controller on Port com1"Test: nothing happened.Was working for the first two times.Playing the Musical Sequencer doesn't have any effect, light are off all the time.I bought this unit for about 550$ Canadian and this is Christmas season and I am very disappointed.Thanks for the help, unit never used just tested twice, every think was fine, third test failed, tried it on two other PC's, same problem” Unknown Device", "Found one Unit"I can't get it.THxNaofal Alyassi
Guest guest Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Please provide more details. USB serial port or RS232. Does it show in hardware list (for USB device)? Where is this short blink long blink? Can you see the units with hardware program?Mike

Guest guest Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 The first thing you should try is a reset:1. Turn off power to the 1602 and disconnect the Cat52. Set rotary switches to 0 - 03. Turn on power for 5 secs.4. Power off.5. Reset rotary switch to desired number6. Turn on power and hook up Cat5Now try Referesh in the Hardware Editor. See if this doesn't solve your problem.

Guest guest Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 How would I know what version I have?I never downloaded any version , only the demo one, before I bought the package.Also I will try to reset it as was adviced.I left my PS3 which I was lucky to get one to spend must of my time on this controler, it is amazing, I kept it till this season to try it, was very busy.Thank you kindly for the assistant.Will let you know.
