All of the sudden... show playback is a little slow, small stutters

Everything was fine until I noticed it when the show started today. The music is running just a little bit slow and there are some quick stutters in the music.

I rebooted the box, no effect.

Taskman doesn't show anything really taking the CPU. Idle at 90, system proceses at 4-8. Lormonitor at 2. Taskman at about 2-5.

No virus scanner or anything else running to slow it down.

update: plays perfectly through the sequencer. odd?

update2: the pauses happen every time the green lights goes on and the drive is accessed (where the LOR software and songs are).

Sounds like you got a hard drive with access problems developing hanging up the operating system at a low level. BACK UP YOUR WORK NOW! Try another machine.

Good thing I had a backup computer primed and ready to go. It worked fine. Going to start repairing the old box tomorrow. Seems to be the disk alright. Thanks!

I noticed that too , I had the MP3 file on a separate drive . moved it to C: and it went away
