One suggestion and something I would have looked for is the decals that you could have placed on some of your window panes that look like the windows were broken out.Most haunted houses, or those we called Haunted Houses that were basically abandoned and deteriorated always have broken windows in them.So I think that would have made the house look even creepier if some of the windows may have looked like they had been broken.
