Start time not correct when embedding SUP.LMS as LOR sub-sequence

In SS I export a sequence. I start LOR sequence editor. I then load the SS sequence into an existing LMS file by creating a new channel, setting it as a 'sequence' channel and then giving it the SS sequence name.

The first time I play it, the SS sub-sequence starts too soon (by two to three seconds). If I play the sequence again, the SS sequence and the LOR sequence are in sync. After that, it stays in sync.

Any ideas why the first time, it is not in sync?
