Controller problem

I got a PM that I think John was trying to post asking for help. I don't run my shows this way so I can't help, but know someone on here can.

Hi there i got a controler assembeled.
on the test program it works great HEX 0F / COM8
I BUILT A SHOW AND CANT GET THE LIGHTS TO WORK THE SHOW WORKS WITH SOUND OK.THE BLUE LIGHT IS LIT AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT.IN THE SEQUENCER THE TOP BUTTON SAIDS THE LIGHTS NOW OFF IF THAT MEENS EVERYTHING. IV TRYED FOR MANY HOURS.

What license level does he have? Controller id of hex 0F would mean controller #15 which would require the Advance License

I think I'd agree, tho I cant remember if the # of controllers allowed by lic. level is by specific address (hex) rather than number of physical units found. Earle, my first rememdy would be to spin the dials (or re-address the unit with HWU) to Unit addresses below 4.

thanks guys i put the ox at 1 com8 and it works great.
iv got the lightorama buz. iv got 44000 lights and 2 mega trees 6 reindear 4 mini trees and other stuff. Thanks john from wpg
