rhino
(I've got a lot to learn. TIA for ALL the help!)I've seen the strobe lights in display videos. But, not quite sure how they are plugged in. Are there different "plug types"? I'm looking at this one, and not quite sure how to use it: http://store.3glightingcreations.com/products/C9-Strobe-Clear.html.Do I get a strand of 25-count C9 bulbs, unscrew the normal bulbs and screw these strobes in?I really don't want to make my own strand with lamp wire, etc, as I'm not gifted in that area. But, if that's what it takes, that's what I'll do.
displaysinmotion_will
Yes you can use regular c9 strings, but most of us make custom ones because we prefer to have them spaced further apart. Making your own is really not as difficult as it may seem, if you have a pair of adjustable pliers thats all you need to make your own
rhino
Thank you very much. Is there a "how-to" out there someplace to make these "strobe lines"?

Most of the time I don't need the pliers and can just do it by hand.
