So....Having Seen The S3 Demos... Anyone Planning on Any Big Changes in Their Display?

For some reason it just hit me (yeah ..we ALL know I'm a little slow) on my way home tonight that I should forgo my Weber Tree and just make a Mega tree out of CCB's and have the ability to virtually create ANYTHING my mind could imagine... (insert your own joke here)...:?

With what Jeff has shown us with the Visualizer, the SuperStar Software and what Bob has shown us with other aspects of S3, it just seems like a waste of Developer Brain Power not to go all CCR and CCB's...

The future of our displays is only going to be limited by our own imagination...

DREAM ON FELLOW LIGHTERS OF THE NIGHT!!!

I will tinker with the visualizer and the auto-sequencing (if it is part of this upgrade) but will most like leave things alone

I'm feeling more and more like this is crunch time. Definitely not enough time for me to make changes for this year. I am looking forward to working with S3 and CCBs next year although I'll still have to find a home for all these LEDs.

This year is locked in, even though I did change part of my display at the last minute.
Next year I plan on changing a lot of stuff.. I have a few channels that I have on my display this year that I am really not taking full advantage of. So with next years spiral tree added, and other things added and taken away, I figured that would be the best time to play with the S3 software.
That doesn't mean I wont play with it when it comes out... heck starting the 12' display a year early? why not... lol

So you are expanding all the way to a 12 foot wide display next year?!?
That is really impressive that you can cram 48 LOR Channels and 10,000+ lights in a space smaller than that! I didn't know that you specialized in miniature Christmas displays. :P:P

By then the winter sale will have happened (maybe), S3 will have come (and maybe gone), and Jeff's solar power CCBs will be mainstream! :P

JEFF'S????? :P

Yours will be out long before Jeff's and I was trying to show how long it will take for Arnold to make up a snappy comeback, so indicating yours wouldn't have worked. :P

I think the tree fell during the night, so you could possibly have that second day to go to the beach and absorb those 2 hours of seattle sunshine. Be sure to bring your SPF-40, of course.
