Home Made Castle for 2011 Halloween Show

I have rebuilt my castle for the upcoming Halloween show. I made it out of plywood and my wife helped to paint it.

It is designed differently this year so that it can be torn down and easier to store. (That was a demand of the wife... she wanted her garage back! :( )

The three front plywood pieces will have my back up singing faces on them with a large framed singing face attached to the back of the castle.

I still have so much to do, but that was one of the biggest projects that is now completed.

I guess by the looks of all that "Antler Velvet" on them, those "horns" have not been used lately... :P

  • 2 weeks later...

Smile! :P 104 Days til Halloween!!!

I thought I would snap a smiling castle face to get everybody in the mood! (It still needs the other mouth parts, but he was looking all happy to be created).

I still have two more 4x4 faces to complete, and then the big 8x8 face to put on my frame! So much to do and my wife is already calling herself the Halloween Widow!
