HELP!!

I think I've exhausted every possible shopping site on the web looking for this type of tree. It's the same tree I've seen in a number of our LOR videos we've shared. This photo is from the Holdman Christmas site. He has a row of nine in his display. I'm trying to avoid rows of tomato cage mini trees. These look so much more realistic. I've tried web shopping and ebay but cannot find one of them. Does anyone have any idea who makes this tree and where I can purchase seven of them?

Thanks!

I think I read somewhere that Mr. Holdman went to buy more and found out they no longer made them so he had to MAKE some of the others he has...

I will look for that post...

EDIT:

didn't find the post, but found this:

If we actually worried about prices, would we really be in this "hobby"? :P

Jim, that's as close as I've seen on the web. Thanks!

Don is right. That is a pricy tree. And as I'm still on the way to making my first couple million to loan Don I may want to start figuring a way to make them myself.

I'm guessing this tree is no longer being manufactured. I would have thought I could find it on ebay of craigslist.

There was a person that mentioned that he had several people that thought his mini's were real, but they were made by him. Will try to remember his name or will see if I can do a search for it.

Edit: Found it ,he is Brian Mitchell. He posted a pic of the tree, but have not found that yet.

Sorry, I meant the original tree. Not the one you found.

That tree sort of looks like the ones I bought at Ace Hardware (LED) with a bunch of extra lights wound onto it.

I got them for about $15.00 on clearance. Perhaps you could use the same lower-cost approach?

Do you remember when you bought them?

When I'm ready to do a set of Mini Trees, I'll be visiting my local Dollar General Store where they have 2', 3', 4' and even 5' and taller Christmas Trees sometimes as low as $5.00/tree and usually not more than $8-$15. Not as cheap as tomato cages, but with these "artificial green trees", they'll look a lot better in the yard and give me a variety of sizes that'll look as close to real as you can get. Just my opinion of course.

I have seen these trees (2', 3' and 4' ones) go on Clearance for as low as $1-$2.00 per tree and the 5-6 footers for $5.00-$7.00 per tree after the Christmas Season too. So you may want to keep an eye out for these and grab them when you can. They usually have quite a few "left over" after Christmas.

I've got 2 - 3 footers, 2 - 4 footers and 1 - 5 footer I'm considering putting into my display this year (2011), didn't get a chance to deck them out and use them last year, maybe this year, just depends on where I'm at as to which way I go with my display this year for both Christmas and Halloween.

'May deck them out in Orange and Purple (Pastel) LED's for Halloween and then add in some White, Red and Blue LED strings for Christmas keeping the Orange and Pastel Purple strings in the mix.

Thanks Ben. I did find a eight metal trees that I stripped of the old incandecent lights and then painted green and added my own lights. I still have a few more to finish. I showed off the first one I completed on a new thread...
