Hacked GE led strings

Some very brainy people have hacked the GE color changing lights, it would be cool if a cut and soder solution could be found to use LOR software with the lights....Let GE make the led strings and few cuts or a clamp plug and you have rbg lights for under $100 a string....http://www.deepdarc.com/2010/11/27/hacking-christmas-lights/
