My lights will be ready on the 30th november and i will be e-mailing Ergon Energy (the electric company) to take the streetlight out in front of our house because it ruins the whole show!!

You just need MORE lights - LOTs MORE.

I'm on a corner with street lights on both streets. Initially I felt they would detrsct from the display, but now I consider them an asset for walkers safety and traffic. They can be annoying when doing photos.

Use a red or green film from a local craft shop and cover the light.

I have a streetlight on both corners of my property. I don't think it takes away from the show at all. And it helps with safety for the peeps.

I was nervous about my corner location with two steet lights but when the LORs are on you hardly notice.
