RaceMedic Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I have a bunch of C9 retro fit bulbs and C6 100ct LED bulbs. They don't seem to be fading to the low end as good as I thought they would, compared to the animation in the software. Is this when a snubber is needed ?!If so ... I can't find the link where it shows how to build a snubber with a 47k 1 watt resistor .Thanks,Dave

RaceMedic Posted November 22, 2010 Author Posted November 22, 2010 YES ..... Thank-you !I thought it was on here and couldn't find it doing searches.Dave
Rafter Bar R Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 The older C-9 retrofit LED bulbs were non dimming. Some new LED retrofits are dimmable. Dimming or non dimming is mentioned on the package literature. Dimming destroyed the electronics in the old LED retrofit bulbs. Quick, easy, and safe snubber, plug in air freshener without the scent package.
