JBullard Posted November 18, 2010 Share Posted November 18, 2010 Chris W wrote: what is it and what does it effect i know it involves a comm port but what else?Did you get this error when opening the Hardware Utility?If so, it just means that the Hardware Utility did not find the Comm Port, maybe you didn't have the RS485 adapter plugged in and connected to a controller.No big deal, I just got it when I clicked on my HWU to verifiy the error number before responding.In this context, it is normal.
