animation question

how do i save an animation and use it in all my sequences, so that i don't have to redraw it every time?

(Edit -> Export/Import Channel Configuration -> Export Channel Configuration)

when you make a new sequence or have an existing sequence, then use Import Channel Configuration

With the sequence open that has your new drawn lights:

Edit-> Export/Import Channel Configuration -> Export Channel Config
(save it with a name and path you remember...)
Close the sequence

Start a new Musical sequence, pick the mp3..
When the "New Musical Sequence Options" dialog pops up, in the "Channel Setup" section, click the radio button for "Use a saved channel configuration template", and use the eclipse to search for the file you just saved.
Before you click OK, be sure to click the "Save As defaults" checkbox in the bottom left, so it will give you these defaults next time you start a new one (it will still bring this popup up when ever you start a new one, but these will be filled in for you)
