Guest guest Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Hi, sorry if this is not the right place to be asking this question. Are the LOR products available for use in Australia, given that we use 240V outlets and different plugs? If not, can anyone suggest an alternative. I've been throwing up lights at christmas for years now but would love to move to a computer controlled scene this year. Thanks,Nath
Guest guest Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Based on other users inquiries from Great Britain, Dan Baldwin (Light O Rama) said that there is a jumper on the circuit board that gets moved to the 240v settings. I just checked my LOR1602W controllers and there the jumpers were.As far as the "different plugs", I suspect a pair of wire cutters and electrical tape will work nicely. Maybe LOR can be ordered with your correct plug configuration.
Guest guest Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Thanks Greg,All I need to do now is find the money. Hopefully someone from LOR themselves can tell me if I can order the unit with the Australian plugs attached. Thanks again.
