Gilford
Using version 2.8.8. Just started sequencing a song. My fades (10% to 100%) on the animator are jerky. Is it the computer or software? Has anyone else run into this problem? Just wondering if it will be jerky with real lights.
George Simmons
I haven't experienced that with the visualizer so I can't answer that part. But the only thing that might be jerky in the yard would be fades with some LED's. I've seen nothing but smooth fades with conventional mini-lights. LightORamaDan
The Animation window is an approximation of the lights. Fades are handled in the controller's microprocessor so they will be smooth. The controller updates the fade intensity 120 times per second.Check your Animation Redraw Throttle setting. It can be found under Edit->Preferences->Display Preferences.Set the Redraw Throttle to LOW for fastest redraw.Dan
Gilford
Will the fades/ramps be as smooth from 10% to 100% as the are from 0% to 100%. Lights do not illuminate before 10%-15%--right?
GS
I find it helps to minimize the grid window before watching a heavily active animation.
