TWright Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Is there a way to move multiple channels into a new track, instead of copying one channel at a time?
George Simmons Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 No other way that I know of. Copying the channels results in having two copies of the same channel in two different places. Perhaps what you want to do is move the channels fom one track to the other instead of copying.
jimswinder Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I beleive you can copy the whole track (and channels)...then you could delete the channels you don't want in the new track.
George Simmons Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Yes, you can duplicate the track easily enough. Then you can right-click on each channel name that you don't want in the second track and remove each channel from the track. But that's not much quicker than just moving the channels you want in the first place, especially if you only want a few of the original track's channels in the second track. And if you screw up and delete a channel instead of removing it, the channel is deleted from both tracks.

From there, you can put one hand on the mouse and the other on the Enter key, and very quickly remove a large number of channels from a track.
