How to use the chase tool?

O.K., I must be suffering from "old-timer's disease" but I need to ask y'all if you can explain how to use the chase tool. :shock:

Create a new animation sequence (10th sec timing) to play with (or mess around in an existing sequence you can always undo or not save the changes).

In an empty area of the sequence (all cells off) take the on tool and turn on a couple cells in one row in the middle of the screen.

Now select the chase tool.

Click on the left most cell that your turned on, hold the button like you are going to make a selection and drag the mouse down and to the right. Let go of the mouse button.

Click on the left most cell that you first turned on and drag up and to the right..
