Is it better to use all 3 outputs to split the other controllers into 3 groups or just run all the controllers serial off 1 cat5 output ?I'm using 22 controllers if that makes a difference on the answer.Thanks,Glenn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Three is not advisable...LOR uses RS485 and the RS485 spec recommends that there be only a single chain of devices. The LOR1602MP3 can be at the end of the chain (have a single wire connected to it) or in the "middle" of the chain and have two wires connect to it.
