jimswinder Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 What I mean is this:When you select "Play Just Part Of A Song" and you put in the "From" and "To" times and you do the Tapper thing and hit "Apply"...Is there anyway for it to revert back to the "From" and "To" times when you back into the Tapper Wizard so if you don't like what you "tapped" you don't have to re-enter the "From" and "To" times?Or is this another "Wish-List email? Thanks!!
LightORamaDan Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 If the region you want to tap falls on a single screen then you can select that area on the time line prior to using the tapper wizzard... Thus every time you open the tapper wizzard the from/to will be filled in.Dan
bob Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 There is a workaround for the "single screen" thing that Dan mentioned:The Tapper Wizard defaults its "From" and "To" times to those of the freeform play range (if you have one selected). One way to select a freeform play range is to click and drag in the time scale, as Dan suggested. However, as he alluded to, you cannot currently click and drag in the time scale except for doing so in a single screen of the sequence, so you can't use this method to select a freeform play range that spans screens, and therefore you can't use it to set the Tapper Wizard's "From" and "To" times unless you do so within a single screen. However, there is another way to select a freeform play range, and this way does not limit you to a single screen:If you start play, and while it's playing hit the "down" arrow key, that will mark the start of the freeform play range. The range will expand from there as the song plays, and you can mark the end of it by hitting the "up" arrow key.If you then stop play and go into the Tapper Wizard, its "From" and "To" times will be set to those of the freeform play range, regardless of whether it spans multiple screens or not.

As long as you haven't changed the freeform play range's start or end times in the interim, yes.
