gizmomkr
Wondering if anyone has used EL wire in there displays. Its a very nice looking "neon" type effect. Easy to bend / wrapp / flex (a bit hard to terminate)I have used it for Haloween in the past, and plan to work it into my christmas display this year. The bigest down side is - you really cant dim it with LOR, (the intensity is controlled by frequency rather than voltage)any other El wire fans out there?http://www.thatscoolwire.com/articleDetail.asp?articleID=
Steven
That's cool. I like the idea of the EL wire in the shower. That's a better idea than the string of minis I was going to put there!

bisquit476
I got some of the stuff for my daughter a couple of years ago from this placehttp://www.neonstring.com/you are right, it's a pain to split and resolder correctly, but looks way cool. The only draw back is it loses some of it's color after a while. Dan C
I've used it on a lot of computer mods. But not decorations.
GS
I have used it for small stars. It looks good and is very flexible. I would only use it for small objects and I would order the exact size you need. I prefer rope light for brightness and ease of use.
